• Allison Slavick lives near Cable, Wisconsin, where she works as a consultant to nonprofit organizations, especially museums, around the country. She is a mountain bike and cross country ski racer and berry picker. Her short fiction has been published in Storyglossia, and won the H.E. Francis/Ruth Hindman Foundation Short Story Award. She is a two-time first-place winner of the Wisconsin People & Ideas Fiction Contest.
