Greg Hettmansberger

Greg Hettmansberger began his writing career as a freelance critic for the Los Angeles Times in 1988. Along with contributing to a number of southern California publications for the next 13 years, he spent a year on staff at Los Angeles Opera. Since moving to Madison in 2001, he was band director of Abundant Life Christian School, before transitioning as a registered representative in financial services five years ago. He is working on his seventeenth season as program annotator for the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, and writes the blog "Classically Speaking" for Madison Magazine.
