• Jacqueline Houtman is a freelance science writer and editor who earned a Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology and Immunology from UW–Madison. As Science Editorial Lead for the Pandemic Tracking Collective, she created content for The Rockefeller Foundation’s Pandemic Prevention Initiative. She is also a dancer and an award-winning children’s novelist.
