• Jennifer Smith is the former program and publicity director for Academy Evenings, the Wisconsin Academy's series of thought-provoking public talks featuring leading thinkers, researchers and artists.  She has previously worked for Wisconsin Public Television, where she was part of the team that developed and launched PortalWisconsin.org; the UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health; and UW System Administration, where she wrote for and edited a publication on educational technology use at UW campuses statewide. Outside of the Academy, Jennifer is a freelance writer and grant writer. She is a Michigan native and graduate of the University of Michigan and University of Wisconsin.
